Ryan Andrew Albecker, B.A. in Bible and Theology, Emphasis in Youth Ministry

I am getting married on June 23rd to Emily Susan Parks. We will be moving to Willows, CA where I am currently Junior High youth pastor. From there we look forward to reaching younger generations for Christ whenever, wherever, and however God leads us.

Bruce Carroll Blaney, B.A. in Christian Professional Studies

Wherever the Lord leads me, as this new phase of my life begins. I’m considering a Christian building ministry like Habitat for Humanity, or possibly going into a hospital chaplaincy or hospice program.

Farron Joseph Charlton, B.A. in Bible and Theology

Upon graduation from SBC, I plan to return to Lakeview, OR for the summer and begin seminary training at Northwest Baptist Seminary, as I prepare for the Navy chaplaincy.

Laureen Carlita Chuman, B.A. in Bible and Theology

I praise God for the opportunity to be here. I know that without Him it would never be possible. He gave me an amazing family who loves me and supports me, no matter what I do or where I go. As graduation drew near I saw many wonderful opportunities, so I pondered and prayed for God’s best. And I know what it is... SBC once more! Over this last year, God has given me the desire to go into the Master’s program in Biblical Counseling. I want to let people know the power of Scripture in the life of those who believe, especially Psalm 62:5-8 "My soul, wait in silence for God only; for my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be shaken. On God my salvation and glory rest; the rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us." After that... "My soul waits in silence for God only."

Fred Allen Drollinger, B.A. in Christian Professional Studies, Emphasis in Biblical Counseling

At fifty-one years of age, I still don’t know what I want to do with my life. I do know that God called me to go to SBC and He provided the means to do so. I have a desire to help youth and families and hope to be able to incorporate horses into that ministry. I look to the future with excitement about how God is going to use my education to further His kingdom. Thank you SBC students and staff for treating me as part of your "family."

Deborah L. Elliott, B.A. in Christian Professional Studies, Emphasis in Biblical Counseling

I am looking forward to my future with the Lord as His servant in urban and rural ministries. He is calling me to disciple and mentor women both young and mature in their relationship with the Lord. Completing my Master’s in Biblical Counseling is also in my plans. At this time, I feel He wants me to use my Mary Kay business as a means to reach out to women both saved and unsaved. I am planning to earn my free car in Mary Kay and become a Director. This will also place me before many women to whom I will be able to mentor and disciple for the Lord. When I earn the car, I plan to sell my existing car and have the tuition to enter the Master’s program in addition to the income necessary to contribute to my family’s needs. My main goal is to be open to following His lead. The plans will change according to His will. He has led me on an exciting adventure thus far and we will see what is next.

Joshua Milton Francis, B.A. in Bible and Theology

Right now my plan is to stay in Redding, working to pay off my school debt, and working at Shasta Community Church’s youth group. Beyond that, I don’t know. I will continue to seek after God, watching for open doors of ministry and striving to please our God.

Martin Michael Glasenapp, M.S. in School and Church Administration

I will be attending Butte College in Oroville, CA this summer. The classes I will be taking are Algebra and a writing class. I will then take a year off from my education track and pursue my doctorate degree in administrative work. In the meantime, I will continue working at Magalia Pines Baptist Church/Pines Academy, Magalia, CA as the Building Facilitator and Administrator.

Wendy A. Goris, B.A. in Christian Teacher Education

I have worked long and hard for this degree. I will be happy to serve Crossroads Christian School as a full-fledged teacher next year. They have been patient and supportive during my education. I am now a kindergarten teacher but would like to become a Junior High science teacher.

Lisa Joy Hall, Certificate in Biblical Studies

I plan on returning next year to receive my A.A. in Biblical Studies. Though I am still unsure what I will do in my future, I trust that it is in my Father’s hands. He will lead me as I seek His will for my life.

Benjamin Brian King, Certificate in Biblical Studies

I am extremely blessed to be a child of God, and to have had this year of training at SBC. I am considering returning for further grounding and education. I may take some time off and help my family as we build our house, but it is my desire to continue to "study to show thyself approved," that I would accurately handle "the word of truth." Although this is a life long pursuit, I can think of no better place to study than SBC. Currently, my future plans are resting in the Lord’s hands. I look forward to what He has in store for me. It is my desire to serve the Lord full time, but I will let Him "man the controls," and see where He takes me. Thank you for your continued prayers and support.

Shanthini Cordelia Mackintosh, M.A. in Biblical Counseling

I am grateful to God for helping me to complete my program at Shasta Bible College and Graduate School. I thank God for Dr. Miller, Dr. Nicholas, my teachers and my friends, both here and at home, who have loved, supported and encouraged me. A special thanks goes to my husband and kids who have made it possible for me to complete this program by sacrificially giving of themselves in every way. Lord willing my family and I are planning to move to the Northern part of India to the states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. Here we plan to minister to the Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims, by establishing a Christian orphanage and school. Also, we desire to start a trade school where we can equip young people with skills for life. In time we plan on establishing a Bible College and Graduate School with a department in Biblical Counseling. Our underlying purpose is to see that everyone we come in contact with will first of all come to know the Lord Jesus as their Savior and then grow in their relationship with Him.

Amy Elizabeth McKaughan, B.A. in Bible and Theology, Emphasis in Youth Ministry

I have truly enjoyed my time here at SBC. My experience here has brought the Bible alive in my life. I have gone through many joys and trials, but with the strength and support of my family and friends, God has guided me to today. This day marks a new chapter in my walk with Christ. God has directed me to a unique ministry using horses and camp to minister to youth. As I go on from here I am continuing my preparation for my calling. I have been accepted into a program in Oregon at Canyonview Equestrian College, "Christ Centered Education for Horsemanship Ministry." This two year program will develop my horsemanship so that I may use God’s creation to share His love and grace with others. From there it is in God’s hands. Galatians 2:20 My life is in His hands.

Joshua Steven Pearson, M.A. in Biblical Counseling

I plan on working with youth as well as developing discipleship tools (especially in the overlooked area of Jr. High) to help youth come to a fuller understanding of God sooner in life.

Natalie Marie Taylor, A.A. in Early Childhood Education

After graduating from SBC, I am not totally sure what God has in store for me. While at SBC, God brought a man, Alex, into my life. In the future I would like to marry him and be the best wife and mom that I can be to bring glory to God. I love to work with kids, so before I have any of my own, I want to use my degree and work with children and try to impact them for the Lord.

Laura LaVonne Urbach, B.A. in Christian Teacher Education

I am currently working at Red Bluff Community Christian School as their 3rd and 4th grade teacher. I’m not sure what the Lord has for me after this, but eventually I would like to work on the mission field in some capacity. For now, I am trusting the Lord to lead and guide me in what His will is for the rest of my life.

Linda Kaye Wharton, B.A. in Christian Professional Studies, Emphasis in Biblical Counseling

I thank the Lord for the classes and professors who have assisted me in reaching this goal. Also, for my very supportive husband and family. My desire is to assist people in their individual walk with the Lord. And as the Lord leads I would like to continue working with struggling people who need to find peace in their lives. I hope to continue with the completion of a M.A. in Biblical Counseling.

Russell Curtis Wiesner, M.S. in School and Church Administration

Russell is now serving as West Coast Administrator for Pioneers mission. He mobilizes teams to plant churches in unreached people groups around the world. Russell and his wife Sharla are faith missionaries to the nations, working from Northern California. Russell assists men and women who are preparing for a life of ministry and service overseas. It is the Wiesner’s mission to help churches and believers take the Gospel to forgotten peoples with the least opportunities and greatest needs.

Callie Elizabeth Atkinson, B.A. in Christian Teacher Education

I’ve enjoyed my four years here at Shasta Bible College. I am looking forward to using what God has taught me in the future.

Gene Arden Anderson, MS in School/Church Administration

I want to thank the Lord for the ministry of Shasta Bible College in helping prepare me for future service in the ministry of reaching young people for Jesus Christ. An advanced degree is simply a tool that can be used to promote the gospel of Christ nationally, as well as internationally as God opens the door for service. I believe there is a prepared place of service for a prepared person in the ministry. The degree I’m receiving has helped prepare me and my family for future service wherever that may be. The continuing outreach of Shasta Bible College in preparing young men and women for His service is to be commended. Thank you so much for your vision.

Jason Daniel Auld, MS in School/Church Administration

I plan to serve the Lord through teaching in a faith-based drug and alcohol rehabilitation program called Alliance Recovery Services. I would like to continue being a witness for Christ while working at Macy’s Also, I would like to get more involved at my church in Anderson by ministering or discipling children, students or the elderly. Whatever ministry God leads me to, that’s where I will go.

Dayne Everett Boyden, BA in Christian Professional Studies

My wife and I are available for God’s use, wherever it would take us, whatever it would require us to do. The desire of our hearts would be to enter rural missions, either here in the U.S. or overseas - somewhere where I could be used to provide Biblical discipling/counseling and/or teaching. Lielle hopes to exercise her talents as a landscape photographer. In God’s timing we will go . . .

Cynthia Lynn Ginther, MS in School/Church Administration

At this point in my life, God has me teaching at Valley Christian Junior High School. I teach math to seventh graders! Until He moves me, this is where I plan on staying. My plan is to follow His path.

Martin Michael Glasenapp, BA in Bible and Theology

I plan to continue my education with a Master in Church/School Administration, and receive my ACSI certificate in Elementary Education. When I complete these tasks, I will go full-time working in a Southern Baptist Church in the Bay Area. Thank you Shasta Bible College for your support in my education these last four years. Most of all, I am thankful for my loving wife and her support during these last four years.

Amy Irene Gibson, AA in Biblical Studies

I came to Shasta Bible College three years ago with no plans to be here longer than a year. However, God had other plans. Each year, a professor encouraged me to come back. Now, I am graduating with an A.A. and I am planning to go to Simpson Ciollege. There I plan to pursue a B.A. in English. My ultimate goal is to either be an editor or a college English professor. This is my goal, but I am open to whatever the Lord has for me.

David Bryce Guenin, BA in Bible and Theology

After graduation, I will continue to work at North Valley Baptist Church as the Children’s Pastor Intern and at the Olive Garden as a busser. My goal is to eventually be in the ministry full-time as a Children’s Pastor wherever the Lord leads. Please remember me in your prayers as I seek the Lord’s direction for my life. God Bless.

Jeffrey Hage, MS in School/Church Administration

My plan is to continue as Financial Aid director and part-time instructor at Shasta Bible College.

Sharon Kathleen Losey, MS in School/Church Administration

I will continue ministering with my husband who is the senior pastor of Valley Baptist Church in San Rafael, and teaching in the junior and senior high school at North Bay Christian Academy in Novato. My training in the Masters program at Shasta Bible College has equipped me to be more effective in both areas.

Rose Marie Nakasone Martinez, MS in School/Church Administration

I am so thankful to be a part of Shasta Bible College. I have met some wonderful indivuals through this program. Thank you to all my professors; I have learned a great deal from all of you. Thank you to my husband, Rick, for all the encouragement and support, and to my two kids, Vicky and Sammy for being patient during the times when Mom wasn’t around.

Our family feels called to AZ to be closer to other family members. We are selling our home in Novato, CA (by the time this prints, God-willing, our home will have already been sold!) and moving to Sierra Vista, AZ. I plan on completing my ACSI credential in the meantime and enjoying a couple more years at home with my 3 year-old and my 13 year-old as she enters High School. I am excited about my future and cannot wait to implement all that I have learned to be a great teacher and someday, an administrator.

Michael Patrick McCune, BA in Bible and Theology

Colossians 3:16 commands every believer to let the Word of Christ to dwell in our hearts. When we are filled with God’s Word, we are filled with the Spirit (Eph. 5:18). It is my continual prayer that I would be filled with the Holy Spirit. That is where my future plans begin. I know that I cannot minister, shepherd, preach, study, let alone live my life in godly conduct daily iwithout the Holy Spirit directing my path (Prov. 3:5-6). The Lord has given me the desire (1 Tim. 3:1) to preach His Word (2 Tim. 4:2) and to shepherd His flock (1 Pet. 5:2). “For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus’ sake” (2 Cor. 4:5).

Heather Kay Schroeder, 3-Year Diploma in Biblical Studies

First of all, I would like to thank my Savior, Jesus Christ, because without His strength I could accomplish nothing. I would also like to thank my parents for making it possible for me to attend Shasta Bible College. Thank you, Dad, for the many hours you spent proof-reading my papers, and Mom for the time you gave encouraging me and helping me study. I love you both very much.

My immediate future plans are to spend some quality time with my parents, sister and brothers. My desire is to one day marry a Godly man and serve alongside him in the ministry God has for us.

Terri Lynn Wilhelmson, BA in Christian Professional Studies

My future plans are to continue to work at Grace Baptist Schools. I would like to be an elementary teacher. I will be happy staying in the library if that is where the Lord wants me to be. I hope to continue my education and work towards my Masters degree. I will continue to look for God’s will in my life and follow His lead.

Tiffen Lavern Carraher, BA in Christian Professional Studies

I plan to continue my education to complete my Masters Degree. I also plan to continue teaching full-time.

Jason Paul Curfman, BA in Christian Teacher Education

“He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still” (Psalm 107:29). This was my quote in my Senior Year of FHS in MN. I chose it to share with my classmates how Christ had rescued my soul and given me peace, joy and hope in my salvation. Before Jesus, my life was a storm of bitterness and sin, but His divine power is sovereign over men’s hearts - not just over the storms of Galilee.

I use this quote again upon my graduation from SBC as it is fitting for myself and under classmen. College life is often like a storm, not just in academics or the responsibility of adulthood but also spiritually. I have a few plans despite future storms. They consist of more inward goals than outward monuments to my glory. Being biblically filled with the Spirit has certain conditions (Dr. Nick’s Notes. Ha!Ha!) like regular Bible reading. I confess I have neglected His Word and have plans to deepen my walk with Him - but for His glory and service. I may continue my education in MN to teach history in a college setting or teach in a Christian school. No matter what shall transpire I shall serve Him, for He has calmed my storms (Prov. 16:9; Rom. 15:23,24).

James Edward Feller, MS in School/Church Administration

I plan to continue on in Christian School Administration/Christian Education. I currently have 25 years in education with an emphasis in Student Activities. My future goal is to become a heavenly citizen in His Kingdom.

Linda Maureen Iles, BA in Christian Professional Studies

Graduating from college is a thirty-year dream-come-true for me. Attending Shasta Bible College this past year was a wonderful part of that experience. I thoroughly enjoyed it! The students were terrific. I can’t say enough. I recently joined the staff as Dr. Nicholas’ executive assistant. My future plans include continuing a close relationship with the school and the students.

Cathleen Jean Jakubiak, BA in Christian Teacher Education

I would like to go on the mission field, wherever God leads. I am willing to serve God anywhere, but at this point in time He has not yet shown me where. I thank God for Proverbs 16:9 - “In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.”

James M. Kofi, MS in School/Church Administration

I am James M. Kofi, Pastor and Missionary Evangelist, born and raised in Southeastern Liberia, West Africa. As Pastor/Missionary Evangelist, I ministered to thousands of war-affected people and suffering children and the disabled in major cities, towns and villages. As Executive Director, I oversee the ministry of over 700 Pastors, Evangelists and other Gospel workers. I am now the next President of Liberia Christian College. To qualify for this position requires a Master’s Degree. My coming to Shasta Bible College is unbelievable; it is God’s wonderful miracle. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Long live the Shasta Bible College, long live US/Liberia relationship.

Michael Francis LaMontagne, BA in Christian Teacher Education and BA in Christian Professional Studies

After graduating from Shasta Bible College, both Bonnie and I will be taking a position at Cascade Boys Ranch outside of Grants Pass, Oregon. This ranch is a Christ-centered facility for delinquent teenage boys. On the side I have started a ministry called Millstone Ministries which is based on Matthew 18:6 and involves in evangelism and discipleship in the State Juvenile Systems. Future plans would include housing facilities for juveniles that do not have a home to return to.

Hannah Michelle Prewett, BA in Christian Teacher Education

I have greatly enjoyed my years at SBC. God has used numerous professors and fellow students to teach me countless lessons about Him and the Christian life. The more I learn about God, the more amazing He becomes!

After graduation, I hope to teach music and drama to children in a Christian school. I have always enjoyed both of these subjects, and want to use my talent for my Saviour. I also want to have the chance to give to children the precious gift that my teachers gave me: the realization that everyone has some sort of talent that can be used for God’s glory.

Many thanks to my family, my friends, and my husband, whose love and support made this possible. Most of all, thanks to God, Who has guided and directed me every step of the way.

Dustin Ryan Rodriguez, BA in Bible and Theology/Christian Teacher Education

Looking back over the past four years, I can see the truth of 1 Corinthians 1:27-30. We are here today to “boast in the Lord.” Those of us who graduate today are not here because of anything we did, but are here today only by the grace of God. The Lord has called each of us to bring glory to Him, and in that plan, He has a unique path to which He has called us. This summer I plan to go into the Army Reserves as an Army Chaplain. In the fall, I plan on attending Northwest Baptist Seminary in Tacoma, Washington.

Erica Jane Rodriguez, MS in School/Church Administration

I believe the Lord has called me to be a missionary in Asia, and am still trusting Him to send me in His time. In the meantime, I plan to go to Wheaton University this summer and earn a certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language (T.E.S.O.L). I also plan to attend Northwest Baptist Seminary this fall in preparation for the mission field.
